Service members affected by Hurricane Harvey receive aid from Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society

Marines and Sailors who have been directly affected by Hurricane Harvey can find some peace of mind through the efforts of the Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society, a nonprofit volunteer organization that will be providing financial assistance to service members experiencing hardship in the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey.

According to a press release posted by the Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society, “every member of the NMCRS Team is leaning forward to assist those in need.” Before Hurricane Harvey arrived, volunteers with the organization provided financial assistance to service members that were ordered to evacuate, and now in the wake of the hurricane, the NMCRS still provide assistance to those who have lost vehicles and homes.
